Even with the same components, changing the case can completely transform the character of a watch. A slightly coarse satin finish, sharply defined case lines, and contrasting polished surfaces give the LV1 its distinctive presence. We paired it with our new polished silver pencil hands and a stainless steel silver bezel insert. The strong orange dial is balanced by the metallic silver of the hands, indexes and bezel, creating a look that is bold without becoming overly playful. The polished details also contrast beautifully with the coarse satin finish of the LV1 case. A simple color combination that allows the materials, finishing and details to stand out. The case sides feature a slightly coarse satin finish, giving the watch a rugged, understated character while preserving its sharp, defined lines. Along the edges, polished bevels create a crisp contrast against the satin surfaces. As the wrist moves, these polished edges catch the light and bring out the geometry of the case. Rather than polishing every surface to perfection, we choose where to retain texture and where to introduce reflection. Inspired by the bold character of 1970s tool watches, the LV2 combines that rugged aesthetic with modern machining precision. Rugged, but never rough. Finished down to the details — the LEVEL7 way. Our G003 top-hat crystal has been redesigned with its own distinctive thickness and side curvature, creating a strong vintage-inspired profile when viewed from an angle. The X1 dial features raised bar indexes with high-performance Super-LumiNova, providing strong legibility while maintaining their slim, clean appearance. The LV1 case combines crisp machined surfaces and sharply defined edges with a deliberately coarse satin finish. Precision and ruggedness. Vintage inspiration and modern manufacturing. Finished in black with orange accents, this is our interpretation of a retro-modern tool watch. MADE BY LEVEL7 #LEVEL7 #microbrandwatch #MechanicalWatch #DiveWatch #ToolWatch

MADE BY LEVEL7 LV1 CASE The rugged satin finishes found on dive watches of the 1970s were one of the inspirations behind the LV1 case. Rather than simply reproducing the past, we reinterpreted that character through the LEVEL7 design approach. The texture of the satin finish remains deliberately strong, while modern manufacturing techniques allow the surfaces to be finished with greater consistency and precision. Machined from stainless steel, the case is defined by crisp side profiles and sharply formed edges. Rugged satin surfaces. Clean, precise lines. That contrast is an essential part of the LV1 case. Taking the functional, uncompromising character of 1970s dive watches and reworking it into a modern LEVEL7 design. Not a reproduction of the past. Inspired by it, then rebuilt with modern technology. MADE BY LEVEL7 #LEVEL7 #WatchCase #DiveWatch #ToolWatch #microbrandwatch

This summer, we took several LEVEL7 watches with us to a mountain stream. Walking upstream with the sound of the water, fishing for a while, taking a short break, then moving on again. During one of those breaks, we placed the watches we had brought with us on the rocks and took a few photographs. Not in a studio, but out in nature. Surrounded by water, rocks and trees, the watches seemed to show a slightly different character than they do indoors. Taking a watch out into the environment where it is meant to be used— that is part of the way we enjoy LEVEL7 watches. A small memory from this summer. The brass case continues to develop its own character with time and use. The bright tone of new brass has gradually become darker and more subdued, giving the watch a deeper, more mature appearance. Small dark spots of patina have also begun to appear across the case. Rather than aging uniformly, each brass case develops differently depending on how it is worn and the environment it experiences. Little by little, the LV1-BRASS is gaining the character and presence of a vintage tool watch. And this is only the beginning. We look forward to seeing how it continues to evolve with time.
